Stone’s Throw members and some friends came together on a snowy Saturday, January 31 to have some fun. Lunch together (three varieties of mushroom soup, and homemade bread!), a walk to the windbreak planting and then to the cave, games and a chance to talk and catch up with our members who live hours away.
We romped with the dogs, cooked at the fire circle, enjoyed a mostly-local Midwest potluck dinner, and did a little site design brainstorming. A nice recharge as we head into this busy spring of open houses, planting, and work with the team of civil engineers from U.W. Platteville to draw up infrastructure plans for our site– but that’s a topic for another blog post.
